The words Anam Cara are Celtic for “friend of my soul” and symbolize the long journey we have taken to make wine”
Each of our wines is from the vineyard we live in and planted ourselves. Enjoy with good friends over a memorable meal…Nick, Sheila, Mark and Heather.

A “Founding Member” of the Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, this winery, it’s owners and their wine reminded me of why I do what I do. I seek out smaller “boutique” wineries, who have dedicated their lives to producing quality, delicious wines, that I can bring to the world who in all probability would never be aware of, and would thus miss this greatness. I choose to only “partner” with people who are genuine, friends in fact, and their one true love is their wines, first and foremost. They planted, nurtured, harvested, barreled and bottled their own wines.
I watched for the first time, the “twinkle” in Sheila’s eyes as she talked about their wines, and about her husband Nick, where he had been in a previous successful business, and how he had dedicated his life to produce the best Pinot Noir. They proudly have an aerial photo of their vineyards hanging in their new tasting room, where you can see that almost every inch of their land is planted in grapes.
Talking to Nick is something I could do for hours, even days. He is just, interesting ! with a boatload of knowledge from his days as a multi restaurant owner, to the present where he is now, in my opinion, one of the most successful producers of the Pinot Noir Oregon, and beyond.
