2008 Vitae Springs Gruner Veltliner
This special and noble varietal hails from the region of Alsase and is recognized by critics, chefs as well as Sommeliers around the world as one of the most “food friendly” wines. This wine has gorgeous aromatics and shows off it’s personality with strong mineral notes, fresh peaches, lemon, grapefruit, spices and white pepper. The balance of fruit and acidity create a wonderful full mouth folllowed by a long, lingering finish.
This wine will pair with many dishes, but I especially love it with fresh hallibut, or any seafood or poultry.
