Vitae Springs 2009 Gruner Veltliner
This special and noble varietal hails from the reguin of Alsase and is recognized by critics, chefs as well as Sommeliers around the world, as one of the mos “food friendly” wines anywhere. It as gorgeous aromatics, and strong mineral notes of fresh peaches, lemon, grapefruit, spices and pepper. The fruit / acid balance create a long lingering wonderful finish.
Vitae Springs has the oldest vines in the U.S., 30 years old, and the age shows well in this perfect balanced wine.
This wine pairs with many dshes, but I especially love it with fresh Halibut, or any seafood or poultry.
